The aim of the information given on this web is to allow for the inscription and organization of the participants in the Bennecke Open 2018 tournament and provide information of the tournament to anyone interested.
BENNECKE provides access to information, services, programs or other details (from here on referred to as ‘the content’) on internet that belong to BENNECKE or its licensers to which the USER may have access. The USER takes on the responsibility for the use of the site. This responsibility includes registering in order to access certain services or contents if necessary.
On registering, the USER will be responsible for giving true, licit information. Having registered, the USER will be provided with a password that he will be responsible for, and will commit to using it diligently and confidentially. The USER is committed to using the content and services correctly (such as chat services, discussion forums or news groups) which BENNECKE provides on its website, and must not:

THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 COMPETITION RULES
Each and every one of the participants accepts the rules and regulations of the BENNECKE open tournament 2018 competition and are strictlycommitted to complying with them. The rules and regulations are as follows:
The tournament has two main categories: Federated and Social.
Each main category is divided into different subcategories which are:
- Federated category:
- Men’s over 19’s subcategory.
- Women’s over 19’s subcategory.
- Junior male under 19’s subcategory.
- Junior female under 19’s subcategory.
- Young boys’ under 17’s subcategory.
- Young girls’ under 17’s subcategory.
Participation in any of the subcategories in the Federated category will count in the official ranking of the Federation of Tennis for the Community of Valencia (known as FTCV as in Spanish).
– Social category:
- Men’s subcategory A.
- Women’s subcategory A.
- Men’s subcategory B.
- Women’s subcategory B.
- Men’s subcategory C.
- Mixed doubles subcategory A.
- Mixed doubles subcategory B.
- Boys’ under 15’s subcategory.
- Girls’ under 15’s subcategory.
- Boys’ under 13’s subcategory.
- Girls’ under 13’s subcategory.
- PARTICPATION REQUIREMENTS:
Anyone can participate in the previously mentioned categories inTHE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 as long asthey fulfil the specific requirements for each one, which are:

Males or females who are under 15in the year of the tournament who pay the registration fees outlined below.

Males or females who are under 13in the year of the tournament who pay the registration fees outlined below.
In order to ensure that the competition goes as it should and that all the participants register in the social categories they should, the organisers reserve the right to change the participants in the social category from subcategory to another if it their level is better suited to this category.
On receiving the welcome pack in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, participantsshould show proof of having paid the registration fee for the category they wish to complete in.
On doing this, the organisers of the event are authorised by the participant to use photographs, videos, recordings or any other record of their participation in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, for advertising or promotional purposes of the tournament, for which the participant will receive no payment.The organisers will not reveal or share the personal details or pictures of the participant with third parties unless those which they are legally allowed to share or if necessary for the above mentioned objectives and having been authorised by the participants.
The underage participants who wish to participate in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, who do not form part of any sports club, irrelevant of the category they belong to, must show parental or guardian consent with the special form as provided by the organisers, when registering for the competition.The participants who do belong to a particular club, must provide this information in the correct registration form, giving the name of the club, whose manager will be responsible for authorising the participation of the minor in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, therefore accepting the rules and conditions of participation, and vouching for the fact that the participant:
– Is physically apt and has trained enough so as to voluntarily participate in the tournament, and that the organisers, collaborators and volunteers are exempt from any responsibility as regards this person’s functions.
– Does not suffer from any illness, physical problems or injuries which could worsen as a result of his participation in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, and should the person responsible for the minor become aware of this, he or she will immediately inform the organisation, accepting any decisions made by the organisers as a result.
A participant is allowed to register in both Federated and Social categories at the same time.
The participants in the social categories may also take part in the men’s and women’s categories as well as the mixed doubles.
The prizes to be awarded in THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, ARE AS FOLLOWS:
In the Federated category:

The voucher will be awarded to the champion and finalist of the under 17’s and the under 19’s categories in the federated category and it can be exchanged for objects or contracted services provided by any of the sponsors or collaborators of THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018. These sponsors or collaborators are entitled to set out the limits or special conditions for using these vouchers, however, they are not authorised to oblige the holder to acquire goods and/or services above the value of said vouchers.
Within the social category, all the participants who reach the final in any of the subcategories of THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018, will receive tokens or gifts given by the sponsors and collaborators.
All participants will be given a welcome pack which has a t-shirt, cap and backpack or bag. There is one pack per participant, irrelevant of the number of different categories he or she has registered for.

- ORGANISATION OF THE COMPETITION:
The organisers of THE BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 are in charge of placing the participants in each of the categories and subcategories of the competition, as well as the seeded participants and how these are chosen, should the case arise on June 13 2018.
When registering to take part in the BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 the participants have to fill in a section about their preferences as regards match times. The organisers will do everything they can to respect these preferences, especially in the social category but they are within their right to assign match times which most favour the smooth running of the competition.
The times and matches for the following day will be published every evening after 20.00 on the BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 WEBSITE. It is up to the participants to check the times and matches that affect them which are published on the BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 SITE.
Within each of the subcategories of the Social category, the competition tables will be made out, once for the main competition and another for the consolation of those participants who lose their first match.
The organisers of the BENNECKE OPEN TOURNAMENT 2018 will provide the tennis balls for the warm ups and the matches in the competition. For the federated categories, the tennis balls will comply with the minimum standards established by the tennis federation of the Valencian community.
Organisation of the tournament:
Federated category: 3 set matches with a 7 point tie break.
Umpire: David Pérez
Social category: 2 set matches with a 7 point tie break and a 10 point super tie break.
Umpires: David Pérez y José Luis Moreno
The matches will be played on clay courts except for the ones played in the under 15’s and under 13’s matches, which will be played on hard courts.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY REGULATIONS:
BENNECKE per se or as lesser is the title holder of all the intellectual and industrial property rights of its website as well as the contents of same (including pictures, sound, audio, video, software or texts; brands or logos, colour combinations, structure and design, selection of material used, computer programs necessary for its functioning, Access and use, etc.), ownership of BENNECKE and its licensors.
All rights reserved. In accordance with that established in the articles 8 and 32.1, second paragraph, of the Intellectual property law, it is expressly prohibited in any event, to copy, distribute, or publicly communicate for profit, all or part of this website or any of its content in any format or by any technical means without authorisation from BENNECKE. The USER is committed to respecting the Intellectual and industrial Property rights of BENNECKE. BENNECKEwill pursue any breach of these conditions as well as any improper use of their websites, exercising all civil and criminal actions that may correspond to them by law.

APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION:
The relationship between BENNECKE and the USER shall be governed by the current Spanish laws and any dispute that may arise, will be resolved in the courts and tribunals of the city of Torrevieja.
